Abstract
⺠DES is used to suppress the crystallinity of CS as an alternative to ionic liquid. ⺠The highest ionic conductivity achieved is 1.04 Ã 10â3 S cmâ1 at room temperature. ⺠Changes in surface morphology upon plasticization were visualized from SEM.
