Abstract
- Nanofibrillated cellulose (NFC) fibres from Alfa, Eucalyptus and Pine pulp were prepared.
- Eucalyptus and Pine fibres were more easily-fibrillated than Alfa fibres.
- The reinforcing potential of the NFC follows the same trend in spite of the difference in the yield of NFC.
- The ease of the fibrillation behaviour was related to the difference in the crystallinity degree.
