Abstract
- The relation between hemicellulose structure and interactions with nanofibrillar cellulose was revealed.
- The layer properties of the adsorbed hemicelluloses could be related to their general role in native wood cell-walls.
- The importance of the hemicellulose content and composition of the nanofibrillar cellulose on adsorption of other polysaccharides was demonstrated.
