Abstract
- One new water-soluble proteoglycan (CRP-W2) was purified from the fruiting bodies of Chroogomphis rutilus.
- The physicochemical and structural features of CRP-W2 were identified by the combination of chemical and instrumental analysis.
- The backbone of CRP-W2 consisted of 1,6- and 1,2,6-linked-α-d-Galp residues, which was substituted with Man and Glc terminal.
