Abstract

âº The enzymatic digestion of thin cellulose films regenerated from trimethylsilyl cellulose was studied. âº A quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) and capillary zone electrophoresis were applied. âº Surface analytical techniques were compared with the enzymatic digestion rates. âº The rate of regeneration correlated well with the digestibility. âº QCM and capillary zone electrophoresis are useful to determine the rate of regeneration.
