Abstract
⺠Nano-hydroxyapatite (nHAP)/chitin nanocomposite hydrogels were prepared by a simple method. ⺠The biocompatible and nontoxic hybrid hydrogels showed potential application as scaffolds in tissue engineering. ⺠Compressive strength of the chitin hydrogel was enhanced about 10 times by introducing nHAP.
