Abstract
⺠Superabsorbent composite is synthesized from biological waste of textile industry. ⺠Homogeneous graft copolymerization in a low-cost NaOH/urea solution. ⺠The product is amphoteric with excellent urea loading and release capability. ⺠The superabsorbent composite is biodegradable and environment-friendly.
