Abstract
⺠Polycaprolactone/chitosan nanofibres are electrospun using acetic acid/formic acid. ⺠Uniform, reproducible nanofibres are obtained containing both polymers. ⺠The blend structures show an ultrafine nanofibrous web in between the main fibres. ⺠The addition of chitosan increases the solution's conductivity and viscosity. ⺠The fibre diameter lowers with increasing chitosan ratio.
