Abstract
⺠Chitosan alginate was electrospun into fibrous mat for tissue anti-adhesion. ⺠Disintegration of resulting mats in DMEM was slower than calcium alginate by 36%. ⺠Chitosan alginate mat exhibited non-cytotoxicity and induced apoptosis in vitro. ⺠The in vivo adhesion score was 40% for rats treated with chitosan alginate mats.
