Abstract
⺠Hemicellulose in Pubescen was simultaneously separated and selectively converted. ⺠86.6% of hemicellulose was converted without significant degradation of cellulose. ⺠A maximum acetic acid yield of 13% was obtained from the conversion of Pubescen. ⺠Water-cyclohexane solvent reduced the rate of Pubescen degradation.
