Abstract
⺠An average molecular weight of about 6383 Da polysaccharide was obtained from Panax japonicas C.A. Meyer. ⺠IR spectra indicated the presence of pyranose ring and both them composed of d-galactose and d-glucose. ⺠The antioxidant activities were investigated employing various established in vitro systems. ⺠Polysaccharides of Panax japonicas showed antioxidant activities.
