Abstract

âº The effect of additives on exopolysaccharide welan gum was studied. âº Tween-40 was proved to be the best additive. âº Response surface methodology was employed to optimize the culture conditions. âº The maximum welan gum concentration (24.90Â Â±Â 0.68Â g/l) was obtained.
