Abstract
⺠Cellulosics were crosslinked with poly(vinyl methyl ether-co-maleic acid) and PEG. ⺠As the cellulose fiber was decreased in length water absorption properties increased. ⺠Refined softwood and hardwood bleached kraft fiber showed similar hydrogel properties.
