Abstract
⺠We synthesized three novel diamine-modified chitosan derivatives. ⺠We studied the gene transfection ability of these chitosan derivatives. ⺠These chitosan derivatives presented relatively lower cytotoxicity and much higher transfection efficiencies. ⺠The novel chitosan derivatives may be used as a new non-viral gene delivery vector.
