Abstract
⺠Nanosilica at low concentration strongly interacts with CMG. ⺠These gels are physico-rheologically stronger. ⺠They are hydrophobic and encapsulate more diclofenac sodium. ⺠Higher nanosilica produces more hydrophilic and weaker gels with CMG. ⺠Former set of gels give slow but sustained release as compared to the later.
