Abstract
⺠Thiolated pectin nanoparticles prepared by ionotropic gelation using MgCl2. ⺠Nanoparticles size increased with increase in magnesium chloride concentration. ⺠Decrease in % drug entrapment with increase in thiolated pectin concentration. ⺠Higher corneal permeation from nanoparticle formulation than conventional formulation.
