Abstract
⺠β-Cyclodextrin enhanced warfarin solubility (solubilizing power; 1.39 Ã 10â3 mM). ⺠Warfarin-β-cyclodextrin complex was well incorporated into chitosan nanoparticles. ⺠Chitosan nanoparticles were found to be spherical with narrow size distribution. ⺠Release of complex from carrier showed an initial burst then a slow constant phase. ⺠Chitosan/cyclodextrin carrier offered controlled permeation of warfarin ex vivo.
