Abstract
⺠Complex ulvan/chitosan polyelectrolyte membranes were synthesised and characterised by ATR-FTIR and SEM. ⺠The ulvan/chitosan membranes possess a fibrous and nanofibrous morphology in a supramolecular self assembly. ⺠Cytocompatibility of ulvan and ulvan/chitosan membranes was proved by the attachment and proliferation of 7F2 osteoblasts.
