Abstract
⺠We examined the relaxation behavior of wood non-crystallized with NaOH solution. ⺠The relaxation modulus and its relaxation rate closely related to the crystallinity change. ⺠The latter was remarkably influenced in the longer time region. ⺠We found a evidence that non-crystallized regions form along the microfibril longitudinal axis.
