Abstract
⺠In this study CA/OMMT nanocomposites were synthesized via a radiation method. ⺠The system is efficient and fast for the removal of anionic dyes from waters. ⺠Higher adsorption capacity is due to higher mesoporous volume of the adsorbent. ⺠The rate determining step of the adsorption process is particle diffusion. ⺠Thermodynamic data indicate that the adsorption process was spontaneous and exothermic.
