Abstract
⺠Novel alkaliphilic bacterium C. sakazakii from oil industry wastewater. ⺠Biosurfactant - low viscosity, pseudoplastic rheology and high emulsification activity. ⺠MALDI TOF-TOF and GC-MS revealed oligo- and monosaccharide moieties. ⺠NMR and FT-IR showed characteristics of a number of functional groups. ⺠Biosurfactant - a potential candidate for bioremediation of oil and hydrocarbons.
