Abstract
⺠Alginate fiber was electrospun into a bath containing chitosan and ethanol. ⺠Confocal microscopy was used to examine the structure of resulting fibers. ⺠This electrospun fiber exhibited an alginate core and chitosan sheath. ⺠This core-sheath fiber was more stable in normal saline than calcium alginate.
