Abstract
⺠NaOH treatment of rice husk for surface modification of rice husk for the purpose of improving its adsorption properties. ⺠Characterization by BET, XRD and SEM to get an insight on the rice husk morphology and its modification during NaOH treatment. ⺠Optimization of different operating parameters to evaluate adsorption performance of NaOH-modified rice husk for Crystal Violet. ⺠Equilibrium, kinetic and thermodynamic modelling.
