Abstract
⺠Nano-fibrils cellulose and cellulose whiskers incorporated into HPMC edible films. ⺠Cellulose whiskers reinforced the HPMC films. ⺠Cellulose whiskers also improved the water barrier properties of the HPMC films. ⺠Addition of cellulose whiskers did not compromise the transparency of the HPMC films.
