Abstract
⺠The structure of the arabinogalactan from Larix laricina has been elucidated. ⺠The 1,3,6-branched galactose core molecule is terminated by Galp, Arap, Araf or GlcAp. ⺠The molecular mass of the larch arabinogalactan has been determined to be 38,000 Da. ⺠An ELISA method for quantification of larch arabinogalactan has been proposed.
