Abstract
A natural phenylpropanoid glycoside syringalide B, 2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)ethyl 4-O-[(E)-feruloyl]-[β-d-glucopyranoside, was synthesized by using the allyloxycarbonyl (Aoc) and allyl groups for the protection of hydroxy groups.
