Abstract
⺠Blockwise alkylated trisaccharide derivatives were synthesized. ⺠Their surface tensions at air/water interface were evaluated. ⺠The mixing effect of α- and β-glycosides on surface activities was also investigated. ⺠The surface tensions depended on their chemical structure. ⺠The surface activities were almost equal to those of commonly used surfactants.
