Abstract
The hydrophobic properties of an initial diblock copolymer of the PS-b-PB1,2 sequence (PB exhibits exclusively 100% 1,2-microstucture) and its derivative modified with pentadecafluorooctanoyl chloride are examined. The ability of the fluorinated BCP mixed or coated to polymeric surfaces consisting of the initial diblock, a commercially available triblock of the PS-b-PB-b-PS (SBS) sequence and poly(ethylene glycol) was also studied leading to significantly enhanced hydrophobic properties.
