Abstract
⺠Reactive extrusion was used to prepare glycerylated thermoplastic starch. ⺠Influence of maleic anhydride on glycerol grafting on the starch backbone was studied. ⺠Acetone soxhlet extraction was used to determine the percentage of grafted glycerol. ⺠Starch-polyester graft copolymers were prepared. ⺠Grafting between starch and polyesters was determined.
