Abstract
This communication highlights the use of amyloid fibers as nanofillers in the design of new completely renewable nanofilled polymer composite materials. The incorporation of amyloid fibers into the matrix of poly lactic acid has improved the elongation at break by a factor of 10, increased the glass transition temperature and improved the storage modulus.
