Abstract
⺠Nanostructured polyanilines were prepared with various morphology. ⺠Ionic liquid added to the reaction mixture controls the polyaniline morphology. ⺠Ionic liquids do not affect the chemical structure of polyaniline. ⺠Ionic liquids form soft templates which assemble polyaniline into nanostructures.
