Abstract
⺠The crystallization rate was increased by the presence of β-nucleating agent. ⺠βα-recrystallization phenomena were observed during the melting of β-PP-R. ⺠The α1-α2 transition was observed for polypropylene random copolymer. ⺠The nucleation mechanisms were studied with Avrami, Ozawa and Mo methods. ⺠The lower activation energy of β-PP-R indicates the higher crystallization rate.
