Abstract
⺠A zwitterionic diallylammonium salt having ester and sulfonate moiety is prepared. ⺠Cyclopolymerization of the salt has provided a poly(anion-zwitterion) (PAZ). ⺠The PAZ behaved like an alternate anionic-zwitterionic polymer. ⺠The PAZ is used to study a polyelectrolyte to polyzwitterion transition.
