Abstract
Oral delivery of estradiol to the brain aided by tween 80 coated PLGA nanoparticles, where the levels obtained are function of tween 80 coating. The oral nanoparticles exhibited similar activity to that achieved by intramuscular suspension in inhibiting the expression of intraneuronal Aβ42 immunoreactivity (arrows) in the pyramidal neurons of rat hippocampus in Alzheimer's pathology.479
