Abstract
⺠Magnetic nanoparticles are very important for medical applications. ⺠Ceramic cores have advantages such as ease of synthesis and chemical stability. ⺠They must be coated by a suitable biocompatible material. ⺠Different coatings like organic materials, inorganic metals or metal oxides are used. ⺠Important factors are low toxicity, functionality and high remanence time.
