Abstract
⺠Microstructural homogenization for medical β type TNTZ after HPT was reported. ⺠Homogeneous ultrafine elongated β grains have distorted nanostructure subgrains. ⺠Grains show high dislocation density, subsequently non-equilibrium grain boundaries. ⺠Greater tensile strength, 0.2 proof stress was achieved but ductility decreased. ⺠Young's modulus was kept low due to the grain refinement in single β structure.
