Abstract
⺠Evaluation by electrochemical methods of bare Ti vs. Ti coated with BG or BG + PMMA protective layers. ⺠PMMA addition to bioglass reduced the bone ability to bond. ⺠Significant increase of the shielding efficiency against corrosion of the applied coatings. ⺠Increased resistance to corrosion and improved bioactivity of implant area in contact with bone.
