Abstract
⺠Biodegradable ferromagnetic bone implants have been studied for the first time. ⺠The mechanical properties of iron foam were similar to those of human bone. ⺠Application of oxidation-iron foam had not influence on the bioactivity, obviously. ⺠The suggested chemical surface modification induced in vitro apatite formation.
