Abstract
⺠New apatite/bioglass composites are proposed and sintered at low temperature. ⺠The samples' glassy phase is preserved and the apatite decomposition is avoided. ⺠The rich glassy phase in the samples results in an excellent bioactivity. ⺠The samples are able to support cell adhesion and proliferation. ⺠The samples support faster cell proliferation compared to 45S5Bioglass-composites.
