Abstract
⺠The mechanism of change in side-chain motion in non-crystallized wood was clarified. ⺠The non-crystallization affects the component interactions and the side-chain motion. ⺠The interaction is dependent on not crystallinity but the eluviation of the matrix. ⺠The dynamics of CH2OH in the microfibrils depends on the degree of crystallization. ⺠The above results were quantitatively discussed on the basis of experimental results.
