Abstract
⺠Intrinsic osteoinduction of calcium phosphate biomaterials was observed implanted in muscles of mice. ⺠Biomaterials powder also has osteoinduction property. ⺠Osteogenic genes and protein could be detected by RT-PCR and Western blot in implanted biomaterials. ⺠Osteogenic phenomenon could be observed by electron microscopy. ⺠The chemical composition is the prerequisite in osteoinduction, and pore structure would contribute to more bone formation.
