Abstract
⺠Calculation of free energy of adhesion to cedar wood of Penicillium by XDLVO approach ⺠Adhesion is not favorable for all Penicillium spores-cedar wood combinations. ⺠Adhesion tests demonstrated the ability of Penicillium spores to adhere to cedar wood. ⺠XDLVO approach correlated well with the results obtained after 3 h of adhesion. ⺠Discrepancy between XDLVO predictions and experimental observations at 24 h of adhesion
