Abstract
⺠A metronidazole colon-specific drug delivery was constituted using grafted polymeric microspheres. ⺠Grafted polymeric microspheres CPVA-g-PSSS were prepared via surface-initiated graft-polymerization. ⺠The release of the drug-carrying microspheres is highly pH-sensitive. ⺠The drug-carrying microspheres display an excellent colon-specific drug delivery behavior.
