Abstract
⺠Clotrimazole-loaded NC were in the nanometric range and positively charged. ⺠Physicochemical characteristics of NC were kept for 60 days. ⺠Nanoencapsulation improved the drug photostability against UV radiation. ⺠NC prolonged the drug release by anomalous transport and first order kinetics. ⺠NC were able to maintain clotrimazole activity against Candida species.
