Abstract
⺠A new electrogenerated chemiluminescence sensor was built to detecte formaldehyde. ⺠The ECL signal was enhanced by using silica nano-beads as the carrier of Ru(bpy)32+ species. ⺠This sensor could be applied to determine formaldehyde directly in real samples.
