Abstract
âºWe evaluated the effects of biomaterials on the cyclin D1, CDK4 and p21 expression. âºCell-polymer adhesion and cell proliferation affected cyclin D1 and CDK4 expression. âºThe p21 expression was higher on more hydrophilic surfaces than on hydrophobic. âºThey were also influenced by surface chemistry of biomaterials.
