Abstract
⺠In vitro cytocompatibility is comparable between microwave and furnace sintered CaP. ⺠Significant cellular proliferation of single and biphasic CaP materials over 7 days ⺠Novel use of pH during particle synthesis to yield biphasic sintered materials ⺠Microwave sintered samples can be simultaneously optimized for phase and strength. ⺠Optimal properties can be achieved without sacrificing in vitro cytocompatibility.
