Abstract
► Nanoparticles consisting of PBA rubbery core and a PMMA shell were synthesized. ► Core-shell nanoparticles were characterized by DMA, SEM and TEM. ► Bone cements were prepared with variable amounts of core-shell nanoparticles. ► Fracture toughness of cements was increased when particles were incorporated.
