Abstract
⺠Type and quantity of fuel significantly influence on the phase composition and microstructure. ⺠Ca-poor compounds form as a result of combustion of fuel-rich systems. ⺠Mainly α-TCP was produced using glycine as a fuel, while β-TCP phase was possible to obtain using urea. ⺠The ratio HA/TCP and, therefore the reactivity of powders, can be controlled during the synthesis.
