Abstract
⺠Private property and sovereignty are contingent, conflicted sites of boundary drawing. ⺠Political ecological struggles over resources have political geographic effects on sovereignty. ⺠Lobato v. Taylor reiterates private property and U.S. sovereignty even as it restores communal rights.
